Something new is brewing at Vyshnavie Natya Centre. If you are a dancer or passionate about dance, then this is for you. Don’t miss it. Bharatanatyam dancer and Director of Vyshnavie Natya Centre has created a new online platform for learning dance under the banner of VNC Artha.
Speaking to Natyahasini, Dr. Vyshnavie Sainath says that she is introducing her first module, a unique Thillana, composed by legendary music composer Dr. Rajkumar Bharathi, rhythm embellished by Mridangam Maestro Guru Karaikudi Mani and Choreography by Dr. Rajeswari Sainath. “This module has explanations of every movement and nuances of the rhythm pattern,” she says.
Dr. Vyshnavie calls upon all dancers and dance lovers to open their wardrobe, pick up a costume with the boldest colour, tune in, wear the anklets and simply dance! “Allow yourself to embody soulful music to express, to listen and to hop in the art form of Bharatnatyam. It is worth making this a repetitive activity of the week,” says the dancer.
