Mythili Anoop’s Mohinis Do Her Proud

The evening began with Slokas and a jathi from Mukhachalam – Ganapathy by the junior dancers. The youngsters enjoyed their performances. This was followed by Navarasanjali by the senior dancers, who performed gracefully.

Mohiniyattam dancer and Guru Mythili Maratt Anoop’s 14 senior and junior dancers mesmerised the audiences with their beautiful and graceful performances at the amphitheatre Shilparamam Madhapur on the first Saturday of April. The beautiful Mohinis danced to the original choreographies of their Guru.

The next presentation was Jathiswaram in Malayamarutham, followed by Keertanam – Pahiparvata Nandhini and Thillana – Ameerkalyani. The dancers who performed on the original choreographies of Dr. Mythili Marat Anoop included Veena Unnikrishnan, Sherli E, Sreeja Gopakumar, Unnati Tiwari, Sangeeta Nair, Avantika Anoop, Vidya Pillai, Uma Selvam, Mummidi Parvathy Tanishka, Preethi Anna, Anagha, Dhatri, Jahnavi and Srihitha.

On this occasion, Shilparamam Madhapur and Alai Lehar, in the service of Arts, honoured upcoming singer Urjita Patel, who apparently had lent her voice to two compositions presented on the day.
