Sai Ravali Boddapati, a professional Kuchipudi dancer, learnt the art form under Gurus Natya Vignan Dr. Devulapally Prashanth Kumar, Late Kalaratna Vempati Ravishankar and Smt. Priyanka Vempati. Ravali, who was initiated into dance at the age of six years, has the distinction of learning Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and Andhra Natyam. Ravali has performed at many avenues across the length and breadth of India, Mauritius, Malaysia, Bangkok, Sri Lanka. She has also performed at many prestigious dance festivals.
Sai Ravali holds a Masters in Mathematics and established her academy, Andela Ravali Natyalam, the only Kuchpudi dance school in Nizamabad that provides training in Vempati style of Kuchipudi for the past four years. Her sole intention and ambition are to understand the core beauty of the art form and pass it on to the coming generations. She is also working as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics in MSR Degree College, Nizamabad.
The dancer has completed her Diploma in Kuchipudi and Certificate in Bharatanatyam from Sri Gnana Saraswati Music and Dance School, Telugu University. She was conferred the Ugadi Puraskaram from Department of Culture, AP, in 2005, Natyamayuri from Kalanilayam, Guntur, in 2010, Kumararani Meena Muthiah award for excellence in fine arts from KRMMC, Chennai, in 2017, Goda Puraskaram, Telugu Velugu Association in 2019 and Best Kuchipudi dancer, Ravi Sree University in 2019.
