Harshini Bhupathiraju began learning dance at the age of 10 years from Guru B Sudheer Rao in Warangal. Her parents – Smt. Sai Lakshmi and Sri. B Nagendra Rao, art lovers initiated her into dance and enriched her vision with Indian scriptures. She has also honed her dancing skills under late Padma Shri Sobha Naidu and Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Deepika Reddy.
A new rising star in the classical dance with Kuchipudi as her forte, Harshini has already won many laurels and established herself as an upcoming name to reckon with. She has been awarded the prestigious Balashree Award, Balaratna Award, Young Artist Scholarship (HRD), NCERT Scholarship, CCRT, Warangal District Award 2018 and many more. She always won the first spot wherever she participated.
An Engineering graduate from Gitam University, Harshini works in an IT firm and teaches dance to young enthusiasts three times a week.
