Learning Initiative

Natyarambha announces Tamarapatra, a year-long learning initiative from July 2021 to June 2022 for all dancers, conceived by Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant. In this initiative 12 rare Annamacharya Sankeertanas will be taught. The music has been composed by late Sri Satthiraju Venumadhav, the Abhinaya will be envisioned and taught by leading Gurus and dancers, across dance styles. Some of the dancers are – Dr. Alekhya Punjala, Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant, Dr. Anita Ratnam, Dr. Anupama Kylash, Bragha Bessel, Deepika Reddy, Geeta Chandran, Gopika Varma, Dr. Methil Devika, Rama Vaidyanathan, Sharmila Biswas, and Vaibhav Arekar.
