With the lifting of lockdown restrictions, Shilparamam Arts, Crafts and Cultural Society, Madhapur, in association with Srivari Padalu, is organising a dance recital of senior students of Bharatanatyam Guru N Rama Devi, on Sunday, at 5.30pm. In the 90-minute programme, senior students – Yuga Rani, Durga, Naveena, Jyothsna Chandra and Sharanya are performing.
Speaking to Natyahasini, Guru Rama Devi said that the students would be doing their own make-up and they would be performing to recorded music. She said that the senior students have received their vaccination and will be following all COVID protocols and will remove the mask only before entering the stage. “I will take care of all safety precautions of the students,” Rama Devi assured.
