Rasikas enjoy Master Garu’s choreographies

Padma Bhushan Dr. Vempati China Satyam garu’s classical choreographies came alive on the eve of Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at Shilparamam Madhapur, when disciples of Bala Tripura Sundari, Master Garu’s daughter, presented some exquisite items of Kuchipudi. The students began the evening’s performance with Ganapati Geetham, followed by Dashavatram. The students beautifully presented the 10 incarnations of the Lord beautifully.

The students presented Vasantha Swara Jatti, which was well received by the audience. Then came Narayaneeyam, and the famous Muddugare Yashoda, followed by Kolatam and Tarangam. The students who performed on Sri Krishna songs and impressed the rasikas include Sri Soumya, Bhuvana Reddy, Shriya, Srijana, Ishita, Priyahsini, Anurita, Sahana, Sanjana, Dixit, Shashi Challa, Srinivas, Advaita, Moksha, Bhavana, Krishna Priya and Katyayani.
