The dancer further said that the teachings of the Bhagavatham, the Vishishtadvaita, Dvaita and Shuddha Advaita schools of philosophy impacted immensely, poets and thinkers across the Indian sub-continent.
At the workshop, Anupama will be culling from codified texts like the ‘Narada Bhakti Sutrās’, ‘Bhakti Rasāmrta Sindhū’, ‘Ujjvala Nīlamani’, ‘Bhakti Rasāyana’, to the intense, evocative, simple yet sublime outpouring of poets, in different languages and dialects.
