Anupama Kylash

In the dance world, not many know that Anupama Kylash began her dancing career by learning Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Guru Jayalakshmi Narayanan, but after learning Kuchipudi from Guru Uma Rama Rao and Vilasini Natyam from eminent dancer and recipient of the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi award and Padma Bhushan Swapna Sundari, Anupama came to be established as a Vilasini Natyam and Kuchipudi exponent. She has lit the Hyderabad stage with her wonderful and creative performances in her presentations – Bhakti Margam – based on the Bhakti poets of India, Vishwam Narayanam – A duo presentation based on the four major Godheads of Vaishnavism, Jeeva Nayika – based on the Nayikas of Annamacharya, Punaraagamanam and Jayamangala Gatha – based on the life and works of Buddha, Shivarpanam – A complete repertoire based on Lord Shiva.

By the time, Anupama was out of junior college, she had made up her mind to follow her passion, dance. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Dance from Department of Dance, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad. She also earned a degree in Music from PS Telugu University. Not satisfied with this, from Department of Dance, University of Hyderabad, she earned Doctor of Philosophy degree, with thesis on ‘The Shringara Sankeertanas of Annamacharya and suitability to Dance – with special reference to Nayika Bhavas’.

Successfully, exhibiting her style, the Vilasini Natyam exponent has travelled across the country participating in many national dance festivals and in UK, US, Germany, Sweden, Canada, Malaysia and South Korea to name a few. With a mission to pass her rich knowledge to upcoming youngsters, Anupama teaches the Masters Program in Kuchipudi at the University of Silicon Andhra. She encourages students to study in totality, the inter-disciplinary nature of literature, music and dance and apply the tenets of the same to the practice of Kuchipudi dance style.

For students wishing to pursue Dance at Senior School level, the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi invited Anupama to write the content for the syllabus of the Kuchipudi dance style. At her dance school, Anubhav, Anupama trains students in the theory and practice of Kuchipudi and Vilasini Natyam.

An A graded Doordarshan artist, currently, Anupama curates ‘The Thinking Cap Series’, for the promotion of research and interaction in the fields of Fine Arts, Performing Arts and other allied disciplines. She is also eagerly pursuing Pada Sahitya of different poets belonging to varied regions of Southern and Eastern India and helps dancers in the fraternity with interpreting and sharing her experience.

  7. Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on. Any recommendations?

  8. Another thing I have really noticed is for many people, less-than-perfect credit is the reaction to circumstances past their control. By way of example they may have already been saddled having an illness so they really have large bills going to collections. It would be due to a employment loss or the inability to work. Sometimes divorce proceedings can send the money in a downward direction. Thanks for sharing your thinking on this blog site.

  17. Thanks for your publiction. Another factor is that to be a photographer consists of not only problem in taking award-winning photographs but in addition hardships in getting the best digicam suited to your needs and most especially hardships in maintaining the caliber of your camera. That is very accurate and visible for those photographers that are in to capturing this nature’s fascinating scenes – the mountains, the particular forests, the wild or even the seas. Visiting these exciting places certainly requires a dslr camera that can surpass the wild’s severe landscapes.
