Ravi Kuchipudi and his students honoured Guru Sri Vedantam Satya Narasimha Sastry, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima, on Sunday, July 25, at a ceremony held at the Amphitheatre Shilparamam Madhapur. Ravi under the banner of Kandula Kuchipudi Natyalayam performed Pada Pooja of his Guru. To make the evening memorable, Ravi’s shishayas – Rithika, Lalitaamruta, Kanishka, Navya Deepika, Devi Vaishnavi and others performed to compositions of Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar, Sri Annamacharya, Sri Bharati Tirtha and others. The 90-minute event was a treat to watch. Guru Narasimha Sastry appreciated the young dancers and blessed them to reach greater heights.
