Sneha Ramchander

K Sneha Ramchander started learning Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Folk dance at the age of five years from Guru Basha Garu, and then decided to follow Kuchipudi art form and enrolled under Smt. Kameshwari Garu, elder daughter of Padma Bhushan Dr. Vempati China Satyam Garu and also from Smt. Padma Kalyani Garu.

With over three decades of experience, Sneha has given many performances all over India for prestigious dance festivals. Some of them include Satyam Arts Academy annual days Ravindra Bharathi, and at Amphitheatre, Shilparamam Madhapur; Silicon Andhra International Festival, Hyderabad and Vijayawada; Kalavedika National Dance Festival, Vijayawada; Kalpashree Dance Festivals; Mysore Jagannatha Palace (Twice); Tirupati; Kalpavruksha Dance Festival, Goa; Karur Naatyanjali Festival; Naatyanjali, Pondicherry; Gudi Sambaraalu, Hyderabad. She has also figured in the Telangana Book of Cultural Records and Guinness Book of World Records Silicon Andhra.

She has won many awards like Naatya Vathamsa, Naatya Choodamani, Naatya Mayuri, Naatya Sharada, Naatya Parimala and Naatya Kalamayuri.

A Civil Engineer by profession, Sneha quit her job to follow her passion. She has received Certificate from Kanteerava Pasumarthi Seshu Babu Garu for “Yakshagana Daruvus” workshop. She also holds MPA Kuchipudi degree from PS Telugu University, Hyderabad. She has also learnt Carnatic music from Guru Deeptha Rubasundaram and Smt. Indira Govardhanam Garu. She has also been invited as a judge for many dance programmes. To promote the art form, Sneha has established the Sri Datta Kuchipudi Academy, Hyderabad.
